Police Record Checks

In the past EBC required a Criminal Record Search or Vulnerable Sector Screening for all of our staff members. According to the new Police Records Reform Act, 2018, youth under 18 years old, are no longer able to receive a police check for non-governmental agencies.

If you are a first time volunteer and are 18 and older, upon acceptance to our EBC staff team, we would ask that you promptly complete a Vulnerable Sector Check at your local police department. Please note that a search can sometimes take up to 4 weeks to complete or longer. You do not need to apply for a Vulnerable Sector Check if you have one already on file with EBC. Please e-mail Victoria at evangelical_baptist_camp@yahoo.com, if you have any questions.

Confidentiality

The information provided on this application will be reviewed by the EBC 2019 Camp Committee. The information will remain confidential. The references and other information will be used to confirm requirements of those characteristics needed for a Christian camping environment.
